This ring won 2 Awards in the 2024 Goldsmiths Craft & Design Competition.
A talisman ring of Night and Day, it characterises ancient Egyptian mythology about Apep and Ra.
Apep, evil snake god of darkness is the greatest enemy of Ra, the sun-god represented by a golden pearl.
The wearer of this ring is reminded that good (light) triumphs over evil (darkness) as the sun rises each day presenting fresh starts, new challenges, renewing hope and opportunities.
Wire and sheet Platinum is complemented by Marquise Emeralds, natural Yellow Diamonds and a Golden South Sea Pearl.
Platinum scales were textured to look like snake skin using the laser welder, then pen plated in 18ct Yellow Gold.
This brooch won an Award in the 2024 Goldsmiths Craft & Design Competition.
It represents dyslexic skills and talents using varied lengths of ‘jumbled up’ Rose Gold and Platinum wire pathways to mimic the more unusual image reasoning skills.
The five Indicolite Tourmalines represent the five key attributes of visual thinking, creativity, imagination, spatial reasoning and problem solving. The stones collect light, sparkling and shimmering as they send the message onwards to its final ‘lightbulb’ moment with the Topaz gemstone.
It is completed by a strong blued titanium wire pin, to mirror the blue in the stones.

This bespoke piece was handcrafted to commemorate the 250th anniversary shared by both Birmingham and Sheffield Assay Offices. It was presented by Birmingham Assay Office to Sheffield Assay Office on 20th September 2023 at the 250th Anniversary Dinner held in Cutlers Hall, Sheffield.
The tapered spiral design symbolizes the small number of services offered by the Assay offices in 1773. As time elapsed these services and variety of hallmarks available have grown. The ball bearing run depicts the passage of time as the ceramic balls travel down the sterling silver channel.
Along the ball bearing channel are several decorative silver ornaments representing important dates in time specific to the Assay Offices.
The crown, gold ingot and wedding ring hallmarks have been gold plated.

These Earrings can be worn in several different combinations.
The special screw threaded fixings allows the flower and large globe to be removed and swapped creating the different combinations.
Butterfly: Platinum with blue sapphire using 18ct Yellow Gold wire lattice work with two diamonds in the wings.
Flower: Blue Titanium petals with titanium wire lattice work, are interspaced with 5 marquise diamonds and a central blue sapphire.
Globes: Platinum wire lattice work containing yellow sapphires in 18ct Yellow Gold mounts.

Tanzanites were chosen for their symbolism of intuition and perception with a reputation for prosperity, good luck and optimism for a future of happiness.
The band and two circles are constructed from 18ct White Gold with 18ct Yellow Gold wire lattice pathways.
The outer circle is set with Tanzanites, the inner circle uses VS diamonds with a large 1.01ct Tanzanite stone.

Distributed among the links are over 2.6ct of VS - IF Diamonds coloured D-G, with a stunning 1.1ct VS1 Marquise Shape, F colour Diamond certified by GIA at its centre.
